Positive comments were “ looked great and furnished good shade from the sun”, “looked great and is very sturdy”, “excellent product”,  “great product, great price”, “beautiful…easy assembly… we LOVE IT!… I highly recommend”, and “pleased with the attractive look, and the overall product quality. We will gladly recommend it to our friends.”

Some owners were disappointed that although this gazebo is water resistant, it isn’t waterproof.  This appears to be a common complaint with many of the fabric canopy gazebos. We would recommend that a buyer give the canopy of this gazebo a waterproofing treatment, easily available in a spray format, once this canopy has been first assembled.

One person said the elastic tie backs for the netting got stretched out and lost elasticity after only a few days of use.

Two owners thought the dimensions of the gazebo were off, with one surmising that it was only 9 ft. x 9 ft.

Ease of Assembly

Most owners were pleased with the ease of assembly of the DC America LQGO19323MBR-BB 10-Foot by 10-Foot Three Tier Gazebo with Insect Screen, saying that it took two people approximately 3 or 4 hours to assemble, with all assembly tools being provided and only a ladder still needed to do the job. One owner summed it up with “We’re pleased with the ease of construction”.

Durability

A number of owners complained about lack of durability of the fabric canopy, with one saying that the fabric “became like paper over the course of one summer” and ripped in several places when they took it down for the winter. Another owner said that “after 3 months, the wind took this gazebo and irreparably bent the frame and tore the fabric”, and that he thought the metal construction, spikes and fabric “are poor quality”.  However, another owner reported being “pleasantly surprised” that her gazebo had help with no anchors in a wind storm. One owner summed it up well, saying “the money is in the frame. The material and the zippers will not withstand rough handling. With care it will provide maybe 3 seasons, putting the canopy away in the winter even in temperate climates. But for the money it is a good product. The frame and construction are of higher quality than the canopy”.

Summary

Most owners like the look, the easy of assembly, and the price of the DC America LQGO19323MBR-BB 10-Foot by 10-Foot Three Tier Gazebo with Insect Screen, but some had complaints about the durability of the canopy and were dissatisfied that the canopy was not waterproof.  This is a very nice looking gazebo for the price, but a buyer would be wise to give the canopy a waterproofing treatment, by spray, after first installing it.  That should help to prolong the life of the fabric.  Anchor the gazebo down, if possible, to prevent damage to the canopy from going over in strong winds and remove and store the canopy during the winter months.

Replacement canopies are available, the frame appears solid, the insect screening is included, assembly is relatively easy, and the price is quite reasonable. From our research, it appears that most fabric canopies are not waterproof, merely water resistant.  Though the fabric on this gazebo doesn’t appear to be the best quality, if you give the canopy proper care and don’t mind having to replace it after the first year or two, then go ahead and purchase the DC America LQGO19323MBR-BB 10-Foot by 10-Foot Three Tier Gazebo with Insect Screen.
